Topic | When you no longer have something - is it "lose" or "loose"? |
Frostshock 11/25/17 3:36:03 PM #8: | TheDarkCircle posted... cheesy spelling memory trick but when I was a little kid in school, the teacher said it's spelt "lose" cause you lose an "O" Or the fact that double-O makes the correct sound... I'm fairly forgiving of people who swap lose/loose in a typed context, since it's an easy typo to make. It's the people who use "of" as their auxiliary "verb" when forming the present perfect that makes me facepalm. That shit is inexcusable. --- Got questions about schoolwork?
