I don't care for the other thread, so I thought I would make one of my own... Honoring the transgender individuals who were killed in the United States of America this year on account of their sexuality and gender identification. There are many, many more victims all around the world... The "full" list can be found at https://tdor.info/ , but even it doesn't come close to honoring every person who's been killed over the past year for the crime of being different.

Not to belabor the point too much, but transphobia is not a solved problem in our country, nor in any country... Several of these people died in gruesome way.. Ally Lee Steinfeld was a Missouri teenager who was attacked by her girlfriend and two men, stabbed dozens of times in the genitals, had her eyes gouged out, was dismembered, burned, and her bones were dumped in a garbage bin beside the chicken coop. Sherell Faulkner died of trauma from injuries she received last November in North Carolina, a state which doesn't have protections for LGBTQ in their hate crime laws... Kenne McFadden's head was held underwater until she drowned, and her assailants just dumped her body in the river.

Too many people dying senselessly, for no reason at all... The world needs more love and tolerance in it and a lot less hate.

Rest in peace...
