Because it was a trash movie that had a massively stupid plot and ending. It tried too hard to hit DEM FEELS because that's all it had going for it, emotional manipulation. what's your favourite sci-fi film? i didn't think the plot was stupid or DEM FEELS at all. maybe it overreached which led the story to be overly dense. but that's the fun of rewatching films. that you learn and discover more about the film that you didn't catch on the first or second watch Nostradumbass posted... Interstellar and Inception both took 2 watch throughs for me to understand. There is a lot you miss in a first watch, especially at the theater. funnily enough i'm not that much of a fan of inception. i found the story/plot of that to be more convoluted than interstellar and far less of an emotional impact --- ...
