Therefore they pine for the days when Black Lives Matter didn't exist, when NFL players weren't challenging their mental ordering of the universe every Sunday. There was not true justice in the 1980s 1990s or 2000s. Black people have always gotten the short end of the stick. They don't have the same wealth and opportunity as White people. That's a result of redlining and housing policy that went against them until 40 years ago, plus racism and discrimination. Even now there will be a bunch of mouthbreathers who get super angry because I'm engaging in "identity politics by daring to talk about it. Hi lovefist, still not Rod, lol. Until you reject the fictional narrative that Black Lives Matter seeks the persecution of all white people or whatever, things will not get better. Until you admit police violence against people of color is a problem and the disproportionate statistics show it, things will not get better. Until you're willing to make a small sacrifice here and there to help your fellow man instead of hoarding all your wealth and opportunity for yourself and your family, things will not get better. Obama didn't let the genie out of the bottle, but the genie was let out of the bottle during his presidency. Republicans and especially Red Hats hold that against him. Until liberals of all walks of life, including mag fellow Berniecrats and economic populists, have the courage to stand up for African Americans and defend Black Lives Matter, things will not get better.
