Cousins, New York denied my unemployment benefits.
They said that it they were denied because it was "my fault" I got fired, but 1. It wasn't. 2. I paid heavy taxes so programs like this can exist, so if I'm unemployed, why won't they let me use it? 3. The lady at the office saw my clothing and said "you don't look like you're unemployed", so obviously I got discriminated against for wearing brand designer clothing.
So close to leaving this state, though, thank God.
