And I never said all sugar was bad. But all refined sugar is bad. Adding a tiny bit of maple syrup or honey to your coffee is okay but adding corn syrup is a big nope. I would teach my kid the difference between fruit and refined sugar so I don't get your point. And I know way more than half about what I am talking about.

People who say moderation are clearly uninformed on the topic at hand. Moderation rarley works with addictive substances.(Sugar has been shown to be addictive)

So which is it? Is sugar completely evil and needs to be avoided at all costs? Or is sugar not evil, and OK to have sometimes?

Your body can't tell the difference between sugar from fruit or sugar from candy. The main advantage for fruit is that it has a lot of healthy stuff in addition to the sugar, not that the sugar itself is somehow healthy when in fruit but not when in candy.

Refined sugar is evil and should be avoided at all costs. Unrefined sugar is ok to have sometimes. It's not rocket science
