It's kind of neat viewing it knowing who the culprit is beforehand because you can get little hints that it's him if you pay attention. There's also a lot of talk about failed expectations in the final episode from a bunch of different characters, almost like it's a buzzword here. I talked before about the burden of expectation from Hotaro's point of view when he's the one of whom things are expected, but in this case, it's the pain that comes from expectations when you're the one expecting of someone else and it doesn't happen.
