Solar energy, 3d printing, self driving cars etc. Theres only so much you can take. If there's an abundance of resources it would work better than fascism. I've always been an advocate for automating everything, and what I'll say is that automating everything would NOT be communism. The means of production wouldn't be owned by a collective - there'd just be a huge number of supply chains for everything, with the cost of spinning up more means of production being very small.
