It's clearly not chemically addictive, let alone containing the connotations of being so deleterious to one's health as actual addictions (save maybe coffee which, while a stimulant, doesn't necessarily have long-term health detriments despite carrying things like withdrawal symptoms) By ignorant I am talking about lack if knowledge about the real dangers of soda. If people knew the entire truth about the dangers of modern soda then they would surely stop drinking it.
