Incels are people who are virgins, but - in their minds - it's because womankind has it out for them, all women suck, and how dare they not lower their standards and fuck them, to put it bluntly. Rather than acknowledge that it's their own - often sexist and misogynistic - personalities driving people away (see: Tadamoto's topics), they'd rather plug their own ears and blame everyone else for their problems.

A guy could fail to get laid simply because he's shy, though. It doesn't have to mean he's a bad person. Dudes need more social skills to find partners, it's just the nature of the game.
