Do you guys realize that the RIP rounds are absolute garbage? They're a joke in the gun community.

We'll have you told this to people shot by these rounds? I'm sure they'd be relieved to hear it.

I've never heard of anyone getting shot by these. Go look up the ballistic gel tests of RIP vs other premium hollow points and they perform unfavorably compared to them. The company that makes the RIP rounds just hyped it up to generate attention.

didn't watch the video or whatever, but aren't they the rounds that gun users where saying was fucking up their guns? like fucking up the inside of the barrel (rifling whatever you wanna call it)

I haven't heard that but I don't think that would be the case since RIP is a solid copper bullet so it shouldn't be able to mess up a steel barrel. I could be wrong though.

I think I might be mistaking it with another type of ammo. the one I was thinking would split open before hitting the target while still connected somehow and spiral naturally causing a very large entry wound. I remember someone promoting it as a "anti-rape" bullet or some shit like that.

I saw it on the internet though so i'm not even sure if it was real. it didn't sound all that appealing to me so I didn't look into it. but later I heard people claiming it was tearing up the inside of the barrels.
