Topic	Is it really that difficult to make a good 3D Sonic game?

Surely they can't be the same team behind so many classic Sonic titles and even stuff like Phantasy Star Online. Their track record is so bad now, I'm not sure why SEGA don't just license out Sonic to other studios that are capable of making good games. It's not like there's a quality assurance concern anymore.
