And it's not like I don't have my own "minor thing that is actually major issue to me" - I do, it's called "the National Dex"

You see, the main reason I play Pokemon is for the collection aspect (the adventure too, but mostly collection..I don't care about battling, I only have like <30 online battles ever and most of them are for competition prizes)
Living dex, itemdex, Pokedex completion in every game I own, every Pokemon with it's Hidden Ability..I even reset Omega Ruby and Moon a few times to get every Cosplay/Cap Pikachu
So yes, it's important to me that the game keep track of this

When I caught my first Island Scan Pokemon and noticed it didn't register to the Pokedex, I was sad. It felt like that capture went to the void, like the Pokemon doesn't count.
The joy of completing the Pokedex in every game doesn't apply to Sun, why would I bother to catch every Island Scan Pokemon, why would I bother to transfer them over to Sun if they are not registered?
The National Dex in the Pokebank doesn't count - I want to do it in each game, separately.

So I made my own Pokedex tracking picture (just google image "all 802 Pokemon" or some shit) and did it anyway

But still, will I stop playing Pokemon because of it? no
Will I ignore users that tell me the lack of national dex isn't important? no, everyone has their own reason for playing Pokemon and I understand if they play it for a different reason than I do
