you need to understand: singer funds the free beacon, and GOP congressmen/PACs. free beacon called the funder of the research a "GOP client". free beacon was the client.

the only question that remains is "did the free beacon, a GOP client, pay fusion GPS to do nothing?" mal seems to want to believe that. idk why he would.

the logical extension of events is that info collected by fusion GPS for GOP clients was used to create the dossier, as well as information collected after it was hired by democratic party clients.

idk why we're even debating about this--none of the actions of fusion GPS or any of their clients are illegal. it's opposition research.
