Sure, in the same way it literally costs everyone $60+(console price) to play any game on a new system. Or how, when I moved out of my parents house, it literally cost me "$800 to watch one dvd" because I bought a TV, DVD player, and one DVD to start my collection.

I mean, there's nothing wrong with waiting for a system to have a more substantial library before buying it. Hell, I always wait for a price drop before buying the current Playstation. But the "$360 Zelda" meme is silly for how myopic it is, and got old within the first week of launch. Again, the cost of any console is an investment. The game itself literally costs $60.
