Especially since this board played a part in introducing me to some great underground hip-hop back in the day. I enjoy Eminem and Kanye records as much as the next guy and of course it's subjective, but I find there are much more thought-provoking, lyrical, and compelling artists in the genre that have gone completely unmentioned here so far. You listed like a million rappers instead of your favorite rapper. Chances are high that a lot of people's favorite rapper is going to be a rapper who has churned out multiple high quality and well received albums-- so of course Kanye and Kendrick are going to dominate. A more informative question, in my opinion that likely you would agree with, would be favorite rap album. I think the answers would be a lot more interesting.
