I think it's probably worse when you both know that you have a thing for each other, but you're both too nervous/awkward to actually make the first move, so what you do is pretend like nothing is going on and then the next thing you know you're in a large group of people at Applebee's because it's after a band competition and you ignore her because you're a stupid awkward teenager and cause her to cry, but then you go the next few years without talking or seeing each other, but you still think about her every day and then one day you make a post on facebook about having trouble with a college class and she offers to help, and then you start to talk a little bit over the next few weeks but then go back to not talking because you're both still too awkward and currently living in other states to do anything about it, but then you keep following her on facebook and watch as she goes through boyfriends and the whole time you're thinking it should have been you.

But then you get over it because there's no point in being a giant vagina in life.
