I dislike heat and I fucking hate humidity to the point where I get seasonal depression from early June until into October (Just starting to feel okay again now this year), so I need a climate with mild summers... but not at the cost of ridiculous winters. New England winters are tolerable for me, but I don't think I'd want winter temps to drop 20 degrees just to get summer temps to do the same. I'd rather both be milder and I've heard it's like that out there. I don't mind the rain. Also, it fascinates me.
