My vision was pretty much perfect until I started playing games avidly and coincidentally my vision started going out of focus beyond 6-7 feet (the distance I played at). Then when I started spending a significant time on my laptop for several years my focal distance was pretty much exactly at normal screen viewing distance. Total bullshit. Television and shit has 0 impact. Turns out the worst thing for your eyes is actually the sun.
