Yep, pretty much.
Fox News does it with fear mongering over the liberals coming to take their guns, ban Christianity, treat all white people like Hitler, and freeload off of you. Then splice in some clip of them interviewing some dumb kid, doing some dumb package on spiring break kids, etc. Playing into that "kids these days!!!" shit that everyone eventually gets old and deals with to some extent.

Then you'll have various liberal outlets that do the same thing, act like Trump is literally Hitler and he's about to destroy the entire country, treat Republicans like the devil, try way too hard to pander to the younger demographics, push played put things like the bs wage gap statistics, etc.

Even worse is you have people who blindly follow one of them, acknowledge all those things about the other ones, but refuse to acknowledge the same about the one they like.
Idk I'm younger than a lot of people here so idk if it's really always been this way and I'm just now old enough and involved enough to see it, or if it's changed that much over the last decade or so where media seems to be entirely sensational and money hungry for as many eyes as possible while neglecting the actual news and actual facts, or bending them for a narrative to pander to their chosen demographics.

I get the suspicion that you don't watch any television news outlets at all, lol.

While I don't anymore I did up until somewhat recently, I watched more Fox News than I'd care to admit in the mid-late 2000's because of my dad and up until I recently shut off my cable from never really watching it much anymore I'd have it on CNN all the time as background stuff while I'm working, browsing the internet, cleaning, etc. And I occasionally put it on the network news stuff like NBC news or whatever just for the same reasons. Plus my work has a TV constantly on CNN so I still catch a lot.
