TopicMy therapist suggested me to do a strange exersice.

Whenever I get thoughts that are negative, or making excuses for me to follow through the path and behavior that I want. I have to say them out loud in different voices, to make my thoughts have less control over me.

My thought process is bad right now, for example to exercise I get loads of excuses and thoughts that make me not do it, but I know this, I know they are just bad thoughts and I should just do it anyway, but then I start to beat myself down for being so stupid to letting these thoughts overpower me and I feel sad, then I feel stupid and sad that I make myself feel stupid and sad....

Anyway...yeah.

I'm a mess.

And this exercise seems weird.
