many people in quebec are very snotty about if you speak french or not, i went to a place (trois rivere? or something) a long time ago for a taekwondo tournament and even convince store owners were mean and i was like 13 at the time

Yeah.... the thing is. People will be mean to you if you do not know the place's first language no matter where you are.

I speak/understand maybe 30 different phrases in Thai, besides that I don't speak a word. I've never had anyone be mean to me for not speaking Thai. However, I had French restaurant owners be rude to my family and I (I was 13) when we stopped there to eat during our drive to Newfoundland. Quebecois drivers are no different, once they see that they you have a licence plate from another province they'll start cutting you off, no letting you merge, etc.

You are paranoid because people cut me off all the time and I have a qc plate.

Yeah. It's not that they're rude to other plate drivers, they're all just shitty drivers in general. Pretty sure Canada's Worst Driver doesn't take Quebec contestants because that's just an unfair advantage.

It's not too bad in the capital, but in Montreal...oh god I hate MTL drivers.
