it's a worrisome trend that has existed for some time, long before trump took office. it's probably a consequence of the stupidification of the education system in general (much easier to raise compliant passive wage slaves when the education system isn't about educating as much as it is about indoctrinating and pacifying)

guess who has played the biggest role in education over the last 100 years

after a few quick google searches, my first guess was going to be Booker T. Washington, but then I saw that he died over 100 years ago. so I really have no idea
