Topic	I always wonder why they reacted so extremely in Stephen King's IT

Kids are more flexible in their thinking, can incorporate new information, so what if there's potentially a child eating monster roaming around, I can still go off to the penny candy shop and enjoy myself or head over to a Saturday matinee.
