| colliding 10/12/17 2:01:14 PM #84: | 30. Sakura Ogami Appears in: Danganronpa Ultimate Identity: Martial Artist Endearing Character Trait: Protein fiend Sakura's all about those mad gains. She and Akihiko should develop their own line of protein shakes. I didn't find Sakura particularly likable, but it's hard to deny her importance in the first DR. She's smart, evidenced in how she immediately recognized the need for someone to watch the bodies. She's obviously very strong, evidenced in her grotesque character design. She's a loyal friend to Hina and overall a positive contributor to Daily life. She's the "traitor" of the first game, meaning that she was supposed to kill someone in case no one bit on the motive videos. Thankfully, Sayaka kept her from having to do that. Instead, she chooses to resist Monokuma, challenging him to a fight. Putting aside that "fighting" Monokuma doesn't really make sense, she realizes that the best way to resist Monokuma and protect Hina is to take her own life in the series' first suicide.
