I kinda like Hyperstone Heist better than Turtles in Time. The main drawback is that there are only a few levels (and thus, only a few bosses), but the levels are each much longer than anything in Turtles in Time, and the longer stretches without an end-of-level health refill make it more challenging. Also adding to the challenge is that there's no instant kill screen throw, and the enemy whip move is only an instant kill on the guy you whip, not anybody you whip him into.

I like the control scheme with pressing a button to run instead of either of the run control options on SNES, and it's especially cool that the default button layout lets you do an instant slide attack by sliding your thumb across the buttons (run->jump->attack). I also like that they reduced the recovery on Leonardo's 4th combo hit. That change alone takes him from completely unplayable in Turtles in Time to my preferred character in Hyperstone Heist.
