The league is losing money and needed to do something. Yeah. Drop the anthem. And honestly, the NFL deserves to lose if this horseshit is killing them. They are clearly already near death. I don't think the anthem is considered being dropped in this case... most people don't have a problem with the anthem. I think it's some of the players who are going to be dropped if they don't abide by their employer's potential impending rules placed on their privileged multi-million dollar contracts. And unless you're one of the few liberals on this board who didn't say "Fair, Next" to all of the conservatives getting fired, you really shouldn't have too much to say about this. Oh please. The anthem could disappear tomorrow and the sports industry would be fine. Most people aren't paying money to see non-athletes sing for a minute.
