vs. LHH it isn't that bad. It isn't if the zone is correct, it's if it is consistent. The Yankees certainly missed out on some strikes in the lower part of the zone, but it was consistent all night. They were not calling low balls strikes vs. LHH in that game. Vs LHH, the only two are the two high/outside pitches that were missed.

So NYY +2

vs. RHH it is a much bigger issue. The Yankees have what appears to be 5 pitches that were messed up. CLE has 4.

So it's +3 for the Yankees for the game. That isn't that ludicrious

In game two I'm counting: LHH +4 Yankees. RHH +1 for CLE. Again, +3 for NYY.

In game three I'm counting: LLH: +1 Yankees. +4 CLE. For + 3 CLE

game four? LHH: +1 Yankees. +4 CLE. Again, +3 CLE

It's even.

It's interesting that the home team won the 4 games and also got a better zone. They also seem to be really bad at calling strikes/balls for RHH.

So no, the umps didn't give anyone anything. The zone has had bad calls but it has been pretty even.

And the HBP is not the umps giving anyone anything. He thought it was HBP. The video is pretty inconclusive, and Joe didn't even challenge.

So no, nothing gifted at all.

The only thing that was gifted was CLE defense gifting last nights game to NY
