A motive in the Church shooting has not been established. The alleged note found in his car was sourced to an anonymous official who didn't seem too sure of what it meant. I'm not going to put much stock in that. Further, his social media accounts didn't have much in the way of racist hate. Just an ironic video that he shared about white terrorists being more common than Muslim terrorists in the US. Nearly the entire leftwing believes that, and they're right.

And who tortured people?

Yes it must have been a very vague note to reference the Charleston incidents and white supremacy but not be clear on his stance on said topics after shooting up a white church.

He was also a former member of the church and he frequently spoke about wanting to become a preacher. His facebook was filled with bible thumping posts. This does not point to a racial motive. We need more than just an anonymous claim that a vague note was found in his car in order to conclude that his shooting was race-motivated.
