Conservative boycotts are met with ridicule. Corporate sponsors issue statements affirming their commitment to players fundamental rights to have controversial opinions. NFL player makes a casual joke about the fact that women don't actually play football. Media loses their minds, declares him an irredeemable sexist, demands he be punished.
