The fact that you have to dig so deep into history proves there is nothing to worry about nowadays even in poor countries. 1.5 million kids die every year from diseases that can be vaccinated against. Today. Not in history. Today. People are dying from diseases in poor countries that don't exist in America because of vaccinations. Lets say that 100 people got paralyzed. (they didn't, but lets say they did) that's 100 paralyzed people out of the billions of vaccinations that have been administered since they were developed and billions more who died or suffered from diseases that we can prevent today with vaccines.
