| NinjaBreakfast 10/02/17 6:36:38 PM #1: | ep 1: great ep 2: had its moments but not more than decent ep 3: good, really hamfisted monologue at the end though ep 4: poor, don't think it was ever actually actively funny ep 5: good, very solid ep 6: great ep 7: great, probably best of the season thus far ep 8: very good, somewhat throwaway but it works ep 9: good, akin to ep 3 in that the end monologue (oh and some repetitive jokes) take a lot away from it ep 10: meh, v eyeroll inducing having so much >tfw to intelligent type stuff in one ep. so yeah still a good average but a lot more weaker stuff than other seasons. i also don't really understand the constant 'i am so smart!!!' stuff throughout the season. i had always imagined some sort of payoff to the repeated monologuing but instead we get....like 2-3 minutes at the very end where Rick is no longer in a position of power in the family? the payoff is a big reset which probably won't make much of a difference anyway come season 4? it just feels underwhelming that so much awkward writing didn't really lead up to the 'deconstruction' harmon is so much vaunted for. but overall it was good tbf --- http://i.imgur.com/nGZeEqw.png Do you really think you can beat me? ...
