When reparations were given to those who were held in internment camps during WW2, they didn't pay them out with a separate pool of "white tax money, only from people who were in the country during WW2." Similarly, when police brutality cases are settled, that money comes from the general fund, even though the vast majority of people are not police. Believe what you will about the merits of the claim, but let's first grasp the concept. But, in those examples, reparations were given to people ACTUALLY HELD in internment camps. At no point were black people offered reparations.
