I can confirm there is no form of security when checking into a room. Im sure that is going to change soon now. He most likely checked in his own bag, but even if he didn't bell hops are not allowed to open any bags. I was a few streets down from the Mandalay Bay when this happened. Fucking crazy and sad. A girl I know is in the hospital and another girl I know hasn't been confirmed to be safe. The suspect is from Mesquite and he lived in a retirement community. I've been seeing mixed things about his accomplice.
