Politics are vomited all over the internet, forums, social media, television. A lot of people are just tired of it in general, and now having it carry over into entertainment like sports, which is supposed to be a fun pass time to get away from everyday life, and people think it's now interfering with that also. Some people don't want politics and protests shoved down their throat during every event in life.

I'm speaking generally, this isn't my opinion, but it's what I feel like is getting a lot of people so stirred up. A lot of you may have been very young when 9/11 happened, but there was a unification of the nation and pride in patriotism. 16 years later, this is where we are at as a nation. That's a pretty massive change and a lot of people preferred things how they were.

Again, before i'm attacked, this isn't my personal view. This is my opinion on why others are so upset.

politics was already shoved into your face during sports. Especially NFL games. It was just politics they agreed with.
