An arm of the government (which a public school is) can't punish a student for exercising their right to free speech in that manner. This. It's fucking amazing to me how many chuckle fucks don't actually understand the issues behind this and how the USSC has already ruled on these type of cases. Public schools cannot force their students to partake in these types of things under the threat of punishment. This isn't the same as an employer/employee relationship and it isn't a 1 to 1 ratio between this and the NFL protests no matter how hard people want to mash the two issues together. --- ...
