You're right, I didn't consider things like D3 schools, or... swim teams, I guess. Same thing with the degrees, mainly talking about top tier schools. Like, I hope there isn't anyone who thinks that, say, twenty year old Tom Brady was getting home from two a days and cracking the books. That raises a different problem then. What do you pay the different divisions? Would it be performance based? Would you make more at, say, The U than you would at Shitty D1 State University?
