Ah, I've been meaning to ask when you moved from Vegas and where to. My parents were thinking about Riverside 7-8 years ago before they settled on southern Nevada. I spent time in that city and Norco scoping out houses with them... and man, the area just smelled funny.

I don't actually have experience with either of those places. We move a lot actually, lol. Of Inland Empires and Deserts, we've been in the Modesto area (which isn't like... terrible, but I mean there's just not a lot going on) and now Palm Springs (which is like a very mini gay Vegas, but gosh is it so empty outside of the casinos and golf courses).

But yes, there are definitely smell issues spread throughout the region. Just driving down the highways you'll randomly get hit by the smell of cow fields/slaughter houses, or you got places like Gilroy with its big garlic industry.
