You said the president is human garbage for not helping. Why does that logic only apply to him? He's garbage due to his capacity to very easily help them both financially and by sending aid that they desperately need but he's simply refusing to do it. It's literally as easy as signing some paperwork and making some calls and he could have it done and they'd be getting help.
