I think it's got a lot to do with the fact that those guys don't want to be part of the sectors of society that would help them get women. With guys, attraction is pretty much completely natural and genetic value-based. Hot girls are attractive, and even better if they have good attitudes. With women, there's artificial shit that many guys just don't care to participate in like social status and assets and other nonsense.
