Believe it or not, I dont feel like re-coming out on a daily basis. 2. Go ahead and mock me and make snarky comments. You dont know me or my background. FYI, I grew up in a deeply religious, anti-gay area where we had a couple hate crimes a year against gay people. As a teenager, being constantly immersed in that environment makes life a living hell. The fear of being kicked out of your home, the fear of getting the shit beat out of you if people ever find out. So yeah, I grew up to respect other's sexuality and I dont jump to conclusions. To a young gay teenager, constantly being automatically assumed to be straight and being asked by your family why you dont have a girlfriend does nothing other than induce depression.
