To be fair Obama called Kayne West a jackass.

That was off the record and just happened to be recorded. Trump has said hundreds of unprofessional and inflammatory things in an official capacity. He has no idea how to act like an adult

Then what about Obama's other inflammatory remarks? What's your excuse for claims he's given on the record, be they completely uninformed ones which incited racial tensions (Beer Summit, "If I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon," etc) or were just flat-out wrong ("It's easier for inner-city kids to get their hands on a gun than a book.")? What about when Obama went on a late-night tv show and proceeded to make joke about handicapped kids? (The last of which, by the way, is far worse than criticizing fully-functionally adults who choose to be jackasses.)

We are in a completely different ballgame now. Trump says things every day that would have been showstoppers before his presidency because we are just overloaded with insanity and lies. I don't even see what's offensive about the Trayvon comment. When Trump gives a speech I'm humiliated as a citizen of this country. If you honestly can't see the difference in decorum, thoughtfulness, and maturity between the two presidents then there's nothing I can say.

lolwut? You mean like how "If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor" -- a completely bald-faced lie which Obama and his cronies knew and for which he was busted -- derailed Obama's career by... what, giving him a re-election? Politicians haven't been held accountable for shit since 1992 when GHWB's "Read my lips: No new taxes" came back to bite him in the ass. If you can't see that, you need to put down the Kool-Aid.

All of which overlooks how many "controversies" in this day and age are manufactured by the press, which has been the case since the 24-hour news cycle first became a thing and has only accelerated as the media has been increasingly driven by ideological agendas. For instance, it should surprise nobody when a Clinton ally buys the WaPo then uses it to slam Clinton's enemies, running frequent pieces against Sanders and Trump without any regard for impartiality or balance.
