Bought the following:

Canon T6i with 18-55mm and 55-250mm Canon lenses - $560
DXO OpticsPro 11 Elite software for processing RAW files - $200 (will be purchasing*)
2x Canon protect (UV) lens filters - $72
Lexar 64GB 95mb/s SDXC card - $30
1x Tiffen circular polarizer filter - $25
Canon T6i for Dummies book - $20
Canon camera bag - $13
Lens cleaning kit (brushes, air canon, spray bottle) - $9
Off-brand lens hood - $7
Screen protector for the camera LCD display - $6

This all started because I saw that the T6i with two lenses were on sale for $560 (vs. over $1000 typically), and I wanted a better camera than my phone.

.......................any tips on further research/reading/learning, before I get my camera?
