Is it better than 17 for any reason other than 1) story mode (I don't play those) and 2) competitive online (don't use that either) I would say that the fact games against the AI are so much more open makes it a more enjoyable experience. You spend less time chasing the ball aimlessly, more time on the ball or actually defending a threat. RoseSaver posted... Is lack of defense (rather the emphasis on offense) as big as a difference as I heard for PvP from 17? Is it too easy to score? I haven't played against other humans yet, but the shift against the AI is really huge.
