They seemed to have pinned down what's bad about other open world games: the movement. Travelling in Skyrim, The Witcher 3, Far Cry etc. just fucking sucks. Walking sucks, the horses and vehicles are barely any better. So you just fast travel wherever. I found myself fast travelling less in botw than any other open world game besides Just Cause. You know what these two games have in common? A hang glider/parachute. Hang gliders are fucking awesome. Especially in Botw, where you can catch sick air from a shield surf down a mountain, then take off on your glider Anyway, I digress...Botw is a playground with the best toys we've been given to play with in it, but if that's not your thing, you won't like it --- Posted with GameRaven 3.2.2 ...
