Topic	Why escape to a country and try to make it just like the one you fled from?

Plus they mainly are trying to recreate the parts of that culture they likes and not the parts they didn't like. Immigrants always brought their culture with them. America's culture is a mishmash of the cultures of earlier immigrants who came to the new world with their old traditions. Many of our traditions are based on those of other lands. You are asking modern immigrants to do something the older generations didn't have to do? Does that seem fair?
