The biggest issue people, myself included, have is that this psychopath was carrying his personal firearm (AK-47, the fuck?!?!?!) with him which was absolutely against dept policy. The dept was well aware of it and did nothing. It's less about shooting the guy, more about he did it with a weapon he was not authorized to carry. It's about holding him AND the dept accountable.
