I will never understand how McDonalds ever thought people would care to buy a cheeseburger that not only did you have to put together yourself, but also cost double than its original counterpart (that didn't require you to do any extra work on it).
well the theory was that the lettuce and tomato would cool down the burger patty to much while the heat from the patty would make the lettuce and tomato soggy
But it's a burger. Who cares? Who cares enough to get THAT MAD that their burger meat maybe got a bit cold from the lettuce, or that their tomatoes got a little warm from the beef?
