Some people might be angry but like mentioned they probably don't care about the story just the miniseries itself. I haven't seen it yet cause I'm waiting for this weekend where it's hopefully not as packed but I'll probably compare them too while appreciating the differences in the two. Curry killed PW. He didn't capture the essence of IT but he 100% captures the essence of pennywise the clown. I'm not gonna complain about a creepier clown if that's what I get though. I feel Curry was too hammy in his portrayal.
