people from different cultural, religious and ethnic, etc backgrounds

basically a heterogeneous population rather than a homogenous one

what else could it mean tbh

can someone explain to my why this is so valuable in the modern day? serious question - why is a heterogeneous population so coveted over a homogenous population? if i go to china i want to immerse myself in chinese culture. not an amalgamation of cultures. if i go to poland i want to immerse myself in polish culture. not an amalgamation of cultures.

is this kind of diversity supposed to exist only in cities? or only in certain countries? are homogenous populations immoral in their entirety?

And what's American culture if not a heterogeneous one? Why compare it to china?

i asked you a specific question about why heterogeneous populations are better than homogenous ones. and yeah i know america is a melting pot. it's not a secret that it's been a land that attracted immigrants for hundreds of years
